What is HyperPlayer?

HyperPlayer is an interface to control your Blackmagic Hyperdeck via the Ethernet Protocol. Thanks to this feature, you get a nice-looking user-interface to interact with your Hyperdeck.

How do I use HyperPlayer?

Simply install the application using the provided installer on your machine. After opening the app, enter the IP of your HyperDeck in the Settings tab, and select on which device your video files are stored, SD or External Drive. That's it! The system will automatically start the connection and generate the thumbnails of your video files.

Really no subscriptions?

No! Subscription and monthly-licensed models are far from ideal in a Broadcast environment. The last thing you want to happen is your license to expire exactly when you most need it. Also, thanks to this, no internet connection is required to run HyperPlayer.

Do I need to make changes on my HyperDeck or in my Network?

Make sure that the following two things are set:
- On the HyperDeck; make sure the 'Remote' feature is turned on.
- In your network, make sure the machine where HyperPlayer is running is allow to use ports 21 and 9993 to the HyperDeck for controlling.

Which Operating Systems do you support?

HyperPlayer is built for MacOS (Silicon) only.
